hey mates your answer is here

Zinc reacts quickly with the acid to form bubbles of hydrogen. ♠When zinc granules are added to dilute hydrochloric acid, then zinc chloride is formed along the evolution of hydrogen gas .

Answer:-

The gas 'x' is Carbon dioxide (CO2).

Ca(OH)2 (aq) + CO2(g) ----> CaCO3 (s) + H2O(l). It turns milky in nature.

Explanation:

When dilute hydrochloric acid is added to white coloured solid sodium hydrogen carbonate, colourless and odourless gas is evolved and produces water and sodium chloride as a products.

Reaction of acids with carbonates and bicarbonates :

HCl(aq) + NaHCO3 (s) -----> NaCl(aq) + H2O(l) + CO2(g)

So, the gas 'x' is CO2. It's chemical name carbon dioxide gas.

When carbon dioxide gas reacts with calcium hydroxide, it turns milky in nature due to the formation of calcium carbonate which is insoluble in water.

Reaction of Carbon dioxide with lime water :

Ca(OH)2 (aq) + CO2(g) --------> CaCO3(s) + H2O(l)

But when excess of carbon dioxide reacts with lime water for calcium hydroxide, it produces calcium hydrogen carbonate and water. It turns colourless due to the formation of calcium hydrogen carbonate which is soluble in water.

Reaction of excess amount of Carbon dioxide with lime water or calcium hydroxide :

Ca(OH)2 (aq) + CO2(g) -------> CaCO3(s) + H2O(l)

Now,

CaCO3(s) + H2O(l) + CO2(g) --------> Can(HCO3)2 (aq) + H2O(l)
