In terms related to water, nimbus, cumulus and stratus are types of clouds. If there is precipitation, it is a nimbus cloud. Cumulus are common clouds that often appear in the sky as bunnies or castles.

Stratus are groups of clouds that tend to cover the whole sky in the form of huge sheets. The word 'nimbus' means rain, 'cumulus' means heap, and 'stratus' means layer. In terms related to water, nimbus, cumulus and stratus are types of clouds.
