when does a bill become a law??

the bill becomes a law when,
legislature proposal are brought together before either house of the parliament in the form of bill.
a bill is the draft of legislature proposal when passed by both the houses of the parliament and assented /signed by the president,become an act of the government.

                              How a bill becomes a law

Bill is introduced by member of house or senate.
          ↓
Bill first reading 
            ↓
Referred to house or senate committee
            ↓
Committee reports bill to members of house or senate
            ↓
Bill second reading
             ↓
Debate on bill and first vote
             ↓
Bill third reading and final debate and vote.
             ↓
If passed, the bill send to the second chamber where the process repeats
              ↓
If house and senate bills differ. Bill goes to conference committee
               ↓
If passes, Bill may be signed into law or voted by the Governor
