when an object is at rest ,the body is said to be posses potential energy .In another case,when the object is anmotian then is is said to be posses kinetic energy

It directly means that the body or object get fully displaced as well as are in certain movement or doing any type of work that  own Kinetic energy.

It is significant to know that there is no kinetic energy without any velocity of an object.
