When does brook make a in and out movement

: The brook passes through many hills, ridges, gardens and valleys. It proceeds on its journey with great force. So it carries many flowers, ferns, pebbles, weeds with its flow. Many times colourful fish like the trout or the grayling can be seen floating in it.
