Hey Raiyan!
I guess nobody really wants to make a decision which one has to regret.
Said this it is the difficulty of the decision which may cause a decision-maker to avoid regret. For example, whether to make a lifetime commitment to a person or dedicate one's life to a Career or to give up a Job for a Start Up,etc.
These sorts of decisions can make people nervous and make them avoid Regret.
I think a useful strategy is to focus on the Decision-making process rather than the OUTCOME. This is because Outcomes are not under your control, decision is.
You ought to keep yourself Accountable for the Decision making 'process', not the OUTCOME.
And useful practices for making a decision is:
1. SWOT analysis
2. Knowing your Decision making process style via MBTI Personality test
3. Knowing and embodying your VALUES eg Answering the question:
" In two or less words, what is No.1 to you in Life?"
That's You VALUE, embody it at all times.
