I don't think dp/dt =0 maybe if dt =0 then it will be possible.....but I think it is just used to differentiate....

deepak126: no it is not a peoper answers because dp/dt =0 only in isolated system

P is the momentum here. since P=mv
& mass cannot be zero. So, when change in velocity is zero or when the body doesn't moves , V=0. so dp/dt is zero when the body remains at rest or moves with constant velocity.
