so when the current flows in a wire u obviously know that the charge is flowing which means that at every place along the length of the wire there is change in the charge present at that point at a constant rate which we call it current as we know when there is change in charge an electric field is generated around it

coming to magnetic field when current flows in a wire poles are generated at the ends of the wire where north pole is at the end situated in the forward direction which was observed first by oesterd when he observed deflection in the needle of a compass placed near the wire in which the current is flowing the only difference between magnetic and electric forces is just that the magnetic field begins at a point and ends at the other point and electric force works as centripetal force it either pulls something towards it or pushes something away from it charges can isolate themselves as they have no beginning or end point where as poles cannot
