The digits are repeating after 6 digits , first 2 is at 3rd place so next will be 2+6 = 8 , 14 , 20 ..... and so on.

In general it is an arithmetic series with first term 3 and common difference 6 . It's general term will be

= a + (n-1)d

= 3 + (n - 1)6

= 6n - 3

=3(2n-1)

It's multiple of 3

Ans option 3 (1+2+3 = 6)
