Hey mate!!

✴ FACTOR THEOREM ✴
___________________

Question :- find the value of a.

Solution:

g(x) = x + 2 = 0, x = -2

f(x) = x³ - 6x - a

x {}^{3} - 6x - a = 0 \\ \\ ( - 2) {}^{3} - 6( - 2) - a = 0 \\ \\ - 8 + 12 - a = 0 \\ \\ - 8 + 12 = a \\ \\ \therefore{a} = 4

Thanks for the question!
