When I was 2 my brother was half my age. Now I am 45. How old is my brother?

When my age was 2 years, my brother's age = 1/2 of my age = 1/2 of 2 = 1 year

The difference between my age and my brother's age = 2 - 1 = 1 years
In other words I can say that,
My brother is 1 year younger than me.

Now,
As my age is 45 years,
My brother will be 1 year younger than me and he will be of 44 years.
