when ice is heated the particles of the ice gain kinetic energy ,at the melting point of ice the particles of the ice have sufficient kinetic energy to break interparticle force of attraction as the particles of ice lose some of its inter particle force they start moving
freely and it changes into water after fully changing into water when heat is provided its temperature change suddenly... during th
e change of ice into water its temperature will not incease Because the Particle of ice uses heat energy to break inter molecular force.
