When is an object said to have (a) uniform velocity (b) variable velocity? How is the avera5 velocity of an object calculated when it's velocity changes at a nonuniform rate?

a) A body is said to be in uniform velocity when the acceleration is zero.
b) A body is said to have variable velocity when it covers unequal distance in equal intervals of time.
average value is found out by root mean square method.
