  • Now any mechanism can not generate power merely transmitting it if the device has 100% efficiency in transmitting it then the relation can be applied:-  
  • (Mechanical advantage)*(velocity ratio)=1  
  • As the output velocity tends to 0 in toggle position  
  • Velocity ratio-->0  
  • Hence, output force-->infinity  
  • And mechanical advantage → infinite
