1.Force can slow down or completely stop a moving object. 

Eg . A moving toy car can be made to stop by applying a force.

2..Force can change the direction of a moving object.

Eg . In cricket, when a batsman hits a ball that is bowled at him, the direction in which the ball is moving changes.

3.Force can make a stationary object move or make a moving object move faster.

Eg . A stationary football can be made to move by giving i a small push or by kicking it.
