when is though used with yet and when is not used

Yet is followed after though in a sentence only when,

though is used as a verb and the sentence is in subjunctive mood.

Usage like the following not advised.
         Though teens don't have a license, yet they ride bikes.
      Here yet  is redundant...conjunctive...

Perhaps the following usage is alright. ..... "yet" as an adverb

    Though Swach Bharat is three years old, some villages are still yet lacking sanitation facilities.
    I have an exam tomorrow and I haven't revised the syllabus yet.
