when light travels from one medium to another it changes its direction so,how can we say that light travels in the straight line.

its not changes its direction its usuply deviate from its path because we know that speed of light is varry due to change in medium we know that reror to densor towards the norwal and dens0r to reror away the norwal because density its inversely proportional to velocity(speed)


if we want to know light travels un straight line then we can take a chartpaper and roll it and give a hole to it and when we paas a torch light we will find it travels in staight line

When light enters from one medium to another medium. The speed of the light changes. And hence it changes its direction... Changing the direction is not the property of light. It is due the external changes which enabled it to change its direction.. Light still follows its rectilinear property after refraction from the medium
