The process is called Budding and it is observed in a unicellular organism called Yeast.
Yeast is a Unicellular, Eukaryotic organism which reproduces both sexually and asexually.
Process: Budding is an asexual means of reproduction in which a single cell give rise to daughter cells. Firstly, a protuberance is formed on the parent cell and grows to a bud. After the bud formation, division of nucleus takes place and a parental nucleus splits and forms a daughter nucleus.
Eventually, bud separates from the parent cell as an independent yeast cell. This process take place continuously to forms chains of buds joined together
