when oil from a tin is poured through a funnel placed tightly into the neck of a bottle, the oil stays in the funnel. Why? Raise the funnel a little and place it again on the bottle. Oil starts flowing into the bottle. Why does this happen?

because of air bubble...

it happens because air also has presure and when the funnel is raised the air preasure from the bottle is released
