Cardiac muscle fibers cells are extensively branched and are connected to one another at their ends by intercalated discs.

✍...The muscle fibre are held together by cell junction. cell junction are present at some fusion points.

These communication junctions allow the cells to contract . So, when one cell receives a signal to contract, its neighbours are also stimulated to contract.
