When planting a forest , the number of jambhul tees planted was greater than the number of ashok trees by60 . if there are altogether 200 trees of thes two types how many jambhul trees were planted?

let no. of  ashok tees be:x
as jumbul trees are 60 more than ashok trees
no. of  jambhul tees is:x+60
now ∴ x+(x+60)=200
=2x+60=200
=2x=140
=x=70
so 
so no. of  ashok tees =70
and no. of jambul trees =130
