In this question the information is not sufficient as the dominant trait is not there But in textbooks round seeds are claimed as dominant therefore,
When round seeds(RRYY) are dominant then wrinkled seeds (rryy) may be recessive therefore,
RRYY x rryy
F1 generation : RrYy All plants will have round seeds But in F2 generation we got 3 different plants:
RrYy x RrYy
1.RRYY 2.RrYy. 3.RrYy 4.rryy
Here the recessive one express itself in F2 generation.
Phenotypic ratio is 3:1 or round :wrinkled
Genotypic ratio is 1:2:1 or
Round: hybrid round(RrYy): wrinkled.
