When gynoecium is higher than androecium then pollen grains which are produced by androecium are not able to reach upto gynoecium .So, stigma is higher than anther and always pollen grains have to reach upto stigma . So, here, self pollination is not possible therefore, this condition is favourably for cross pollination.
