when sugar is dissolved in water, the volume of solution is the same as that of the water taken. where is the sugar gone

The volume is not changed because the sugar is counted in density , when sugar is dissolved the density of solution increases.

sugar gets dissolved in water . The level of water remains the same the particles of sugar get dissolved in water molecules.
