When the adult world beckons, we often change values to suit our
convenience. Rewrite any ten values discussed earlier as 'values of
convenience'. Do this by adding the word 'except' at the end of
each and complete the sentence.
1. Share everything, except ...
8:44
2. Play fair, except
3. Don't hit people, except
4. Put things back where you found them, except
5. Clean up your own mess, except .....
6. Don't take things that aren't yours, except
7. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody, except
8. Wash your hands before you eat, except
9. Say 'please' when you want something, except
10. Say 'thank you' when you receive something, except
If your values have altered and become 'values of convenience', get them
back on track. Start with the simple ones you learnt as a six-year-old.
Rediscover yourself. You are still wonderful, marvellous, fabulous and really
beautiful. You are you!
