When the breadth of a certain rectangle is shortened by a metre, the area is
decreased by 15 sq. metres. What is the length of the rectangle?​

Answer:Area of rectangle = l*b

let l *b =a-----(1)

    l * (b-1) =a -15

 = l * (b-1) = l *b -15 (from 1)

= l*b -l = l*b -15

    l*b cancel on both sides

   l= 15 m
