Let the required number is x,

According to the question,

1/3 x + half of x = 25

x/3 + x/2 = 25

x/3 + x/2 = 25

Taking LCM = 6

(2x + 3x) /6 = 25

2x + 3x = 25 × 6

5x = 150

x = 150/5

x = 30

Required number is 30
