When the height is doubled the lateral surface area of cylinder increases?

Lateral Surface area =2πrh
So it depend directly on h(raise to 1)
so if height doubles
lateral surface area also doubles

LSA of cylinder= 2*pie*r*h

If h is doubled

LSA of cylinder= 2*pie*r*2h

                         =4*pie*r*h

                         =2(2*pie*r*h)

Therefore, Lateral Surface Area doubles.
