let the length of rectangle be x and breadth is y

then perimeter = 2(l+b) ----- eq.1

but according to question..

when l = l+3

and b = b-2

then perimeter = 44CM

=> 2(l+3+b-2) = 44

=> 2(l+b+1) = 44

=> l+b+1 = 22

=> l+b = 21 ----eq.2

now put the value of l+b in eq.1

=>perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b )

=> 2(21) = 42cm

so original perimeter of rectangle is 42cm
