When the mass and speed of a body is doubled,find out the kinetic energy ?

KE' will be 8 times of KE

KE=1/2 mv^2

When mass and velocity is doubled

V'=2v and M'=2m

:. KE'=1/2 (2m)(2v)^4

= m(4v^2)

= 4mv^2

KE'/KE = (4mv^2)/(1/2mv^2)

=4x2

= 8

:. KE'= 8KE
