Hey just take an example okay.....so if we talk about a heavy object then it is difficult to lift it up.It simply means that the gravitational force for that heavy one is more. Now,if we talk about a light object then it's easy to lift it & move it which means that the gravitational force for it is less. So now it is totally clear that if the mass of an object decreases the force of gravity also decreases.
