When the pressure on a sphere is increased by 80 atm then it's volume is decreased by 0.01%.

We have to find the Bulk modulus of the material of sphere.

change in pressure, ∆P = 80 atm

let initial volume is V₀

∵ volume of sphere is decreased by 0.01 %

it means, change in volume , ∆V = -0.01% of V₀

= -0.01V₀/100

⇒-∆V/V = 10¯⁴

Bulk modulus of a material is given by, β = ∆P/(-∆V/V)

= (80 atm)/(10¯⁴)

= 80 × 10⁴ atm

∵ 1 atm = 1.013 × 10⁵ N/m²

= 80 × 10⁴ × 1.013 × 10⁵ N/m²

= 8.104 × 10¹⁰ N/m²

Therefore the Bulk modulus of elasticity of the material of sphere is 8.104 × 10¹⁰ N/m².
