when the side of a cube is doubled, how many times will the volume become?

when the side of a cube is double then volume will increase 8times to the individuals cube

like that

let the side of cube a cm

then
volume if cube = a³ -----1)

and if we doubled it then 2a

now Volume if cube

=> (2a)³ = 8a³ -----2)

if we dividing the equation 2 to 1 we got ..

8a³/a³ = 8

hense 8 times is answer ..
