Given solution - Sodium hydroxide
The NaOH solution when tested -->
i) with blue litmus - We don't observe any color change.Blue remains as the same.
ii) with red litmus - We observe a color change from red to blue.
We can provide a reason why we observe such change. NaOH is one of the strongest bases. And we know bases change red litmus to blue. So that's why this color change was observed.

Sodium hydroxide(NaOH) is a strong base. We know that basic solution turns red litmus to blue . Thus NaOH solution turns red litmus to blue.
