When the solution so formed ,is tested with litmus, what kind of colour chang expected? Reason out your answer.

If the solution formed is acidic then the litmus paper(neutral) will turn red in colour.

Similarly, if the solution is basic the litmus paper (neutral) will turn blue in colour.

It depends upon the colour of litmus used

Blue litmus turns red in acidic solution while red litmus turns blue in basic solution

No colour change will be observed if the solution is neutral
