You might be knowing that there is a lot of space between the water molecules, and the force of attraction between them is negligible, therefore, when you add sugar to water, the size of the sugar crystals become smaller and smaller, and like that, these sugar molecules occupy the space between these mater molecules, hope you understood!

ACCORDING TO THE PROPERTY OF LIQUID - THAT LIQUID PARTICLES HAVE SPACE BETWEEN THEM ____WHEN THE SUGAR CRYSTALS DISSOLVE IN WATER THEN THE SMALL PARTICLES OF SUGAR FIX IN THE SPACE BETWEEN THE PARTICLES OF WATER THAT'S IS THE REASON WATER LEVEL DOES NOT RISE .
