As we all know that Earth is a planet which has an appropriate and a suitable temperature which makes it the best for survival of living organisms. So here, the Sun performs the part of providing light and heat without which the survival won't be possible. If the Sun did'nt rise then we won't have days and nights. There would be no plants, no animals and neither would we survive.
