Generally, stomata open in response to light. When the weather is hot stomata close to conserve water.

When stomata close the plant growth will stop because it prevents the carbon dioxide from entering the leaves. So automatically decreasing the photosynthesis process.

Temperature affects the opening and closing of the stomata. Stomata open only on day time because the stomata allow Carbon dioxide to enter the leaf.

The plants need carbon dioxide for their food preparation.

So plants make their food by the photosynthesis process. When the temperature is high stomata close to protect moisture.
