When two objects are moving uniformly towards each other then speed decrease by 6m/s. If both the bodies move in same direction distance between them increases by 4m/s. What is speed then???

here is your answer :-

let the objects speed be x and y respectively ,,

when moving towards each other :-

x+y = 6------- 1

and, when moving in same direction

x-y = 4 ------ 2

now ,

adding 1 and 2 we get

2x = 10 m/s

x = 5m/s

and,

putting this in 1

y = 1 m/s.
