then the equivalent resistance is 6/5 ohm When
of the resistance is removed then the effective
resistance is 2ohm.

Answer:

3 ohm

Explanation:

here,

Let two resistance be R1 and R2 and equivalent resistance be Req

when the two resistance are connected in parallel

1/Req=1/R1+1/R2

or.1/(6/5)=1/R1+1/R2

or5/6=1/R1+1/R2........(1)

according to question "When  one

of the resistance is removed then the effective

resistance is 2ohm"

so R1=2 ohm

now from(1)

5/6=1/2+1/R2

or,5/6-1/2=1/R2

or,1/3=1/R2

∴R2=3

So the resistance of wire removed is 3 ohm
