Battle of Plassey was fought in the the year of 1757 . Siraj ud daulah and british were on opposite side . Mir jafar wanted to become the nawab and thus he bribed the soldier to throw away their weapons . Robert Clive won the battle easily .

Outcome: Mir jafar became the nawab . Mir jafar gifted large amt of money and 24 district to British.
