I) Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched on 2 October 2014 by our Prime minister Narendra Modi. And it was for the period of 5 years from 2014 to 2019.

II) The main reason behind this scheme is cleanliness. As we all know that cleanliness is next to godliness. So prime minister has launched this scheme to step forward in cleaning out country. The main motto was to clean India green India.

III) Haryana was awarded to maintain the cleanliness and the district was satara.

IV) Before Narendra Modi,Mahatma Gandhi the father of our nation taught us to start this mission as according to him "sanitation is more important than anything else."
