The war was fought between Ghutid army lead by Mohammed Ghori and Rajput army lead by Prithvirah Chauhan.the battle destroyed the reign of Prithviraj chauhan ,and he was imprisoned and executed to death.

This war is also regarded as the turning point of Indian history.
