Explanation:
The treaty of Surjigaon Sandhi was made on 30th December 1803 . The treaty was held between Daulat Rao Sindhia and the British. It was signed at Anjangaon town ,Maharashtra, India.
The treaty was signed between the two parties after the Battle of Assaye and Battle of Argaon. The treaty brought certain regions like the Delhi-Agra region, Ganga -Jamuna Doab , Broach, parts of Bundelkhand, some districts of Gujarat and fort of Ahmadnagar under the control of the British East India Company.
The treaty was however revised on two occasion. First time it was done in November 1805 when certain territories of Gohad and Gwalior to Sindhia. Second time it was done in November 1817 when the Sindhias were entrusted with more powers for their assistance to the British during the Third Anglo Maratha War against the Pindaris.
