When water added to acid it produces lot's of heat.but when we drink water it also react with acid inside our stomach but it don't produce heat why?

INDIANvMA: No dear.the pH value of acid inside our stomach is 2-3 that is not diluted
INDIANvMA: And it is prevented by mucus layer

No its not like that ,

water when reacts with acid in our stomach it produces heat ,but the heat produced is only sufficient to digest the food , as it is only in small amount.

Its is because the acid our stomach is hydrochloric acid and it helps in digestion.
