when we add few crystals of copper sulfate to water after sometime the solution turns blue. Name the process involved in it.

the reactant copper sulphate was anhydrous so it was powdery and white.When water was mixed,this copper sulphate had formed water of crystallization forming CuSO4.5H2O.Thus it turned blue.
