when we add zinc + sulphuric acid why do we get zinc sulphate + hydrogen and not zinc sulphite why

Sulphuric acid is mixture of sulfer and hydrogen.

vipul4014: so hydrogen is obtained obtained but why we got

vipul4014: sulphate not sulphite or something else
