When we buy honey from market then why expiry date is written on it? we already know that honey never expires

Besides being a legal requirement, the honey is formed by sugar, water, organic acids, proteins, amino acids, minerals and enzymes which may be susceptible to deterioration of quality.

For Further Knowledge,

Honey usually can be stored for a long time because of its high amout of sugar that prevents microorganisms to grow. For this propertie to work the moisture percentage might never be higher than 20%. Therefore when honey crystalizes and  consequently the concentration of sugar in the liquid part decreases, honey becomes vunerable to microorganisms attacks and fermentation.
