When we classify managers according to their level in the organization they are described as- Top managers, middle managers and supervisors.  


Top managers- includes board of directors, chief executive or managing directors. They lay down the objectives of the company.


Middle managers- includes branch and departmental managers. They execute the plans.


Supervisors- includes foreman, officers and superintendent. They perform day to day activities.
