when we connect the live wire with natural wire. why their is generation of sprack and heat?​

There is three types of wire used in

our home:-

1)Live wire:- The wire which also known as hot lead covered with red or brown colour.

2) Neutral wire:- Also known as cold lead covered with black or blue colour having potential difference of 220 V.

3)Earthing wire:- The wire which is connected in deep earth which provide easy 0 potential such that current goes to earth without shocking .

covered with green or yellow colour.

Ans:- When live wire is touches with neutral wire a huge amount of current is passed in to the wire in very short period of time which cause heat generation in wire by joules law of heating hence the generation of spark and heat is seen.This is also called short-circuit.
